The month of May has brought with it the very welcome sight of declining gas prices. In the run-up to the Month of May higher fuel prices had been a growing concern of many American’s as it impacted their bottom lines, both in business and personally. But since hitting a national peak of $3.94 on April 6th, prices have receded $.21 to $3.73. Many economists are actually predicting for fuel prices to continue dropping well into the summer to a price of $3.50.

The lineup for the Lockport Labatt Canal Concert Series (of which Heinrich Chevrolet is proudly a sponsor) was announced in downtown Lockport. The concerts take place every Friday for 9 straight weeks at the Ulrich City Center. The lineup is listed below and contains plenty of star power. Highlights include George Thorogood and the Destroyers, The Tea Part, Gov’t Mule, and Theory of a Deadman to name a few. As usual all shows are free to the public and begin at 5:30 PM. For decades most aircraft have not been complete without the inclusion of a Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), better known collectively as “black boxes”.  These handy devices have proven invaluable to crash investigations since their inception.  The typical details they contain are usually responsible with a few other metrics for the cause of the accident.  This sterling record thus begs the question “Why aren’t these things in cars?”

GM is currently refitting several of its plants to be ready to produce the re-engineered 2013-2014 Chevrolet Silverado.   2007 is the last year in which GM overhauled the design of its top selling pick up truck, and it looks to be the first to do so in this decade as well.  The new Silverado is going to boast some pretty impressive features.  Including a hybrid version that still delivers the power and towing capacity which Silverados are known for.
