On July 10th if you happen to find yourself in or near Kansas City, MO you might want to stop in and check out the annual spectacle “Procession of the All-Stars”. This particular event starts at 2 PM on the date mentioned above and will be lead by Kansas City hero and 13 time All-Star himself George Brett. This procession is like a typical Hollywood red carpet event, with the small exception that everyone gets their own Chevrolet vehicle. That’s right, featuring a 4,129 ft red carpet, this event first started in 2005 in Detroit and has been a fan favorite since.

Today at the Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWC) Apple announced that major automotive manufacturers, including GM will now be integrating Apple’s Siri app into their cars. Complete with a dedicated button being placed on the steering wheel to start up the popular program. When combined with current GPS technology and Apple’s other disclosure of their own map systems, this new partnership is likely to usher in an era of ‘eyes-free’ gadgets for drivers.
