Recently OnStar, The GM Foundation, and the Center for Disease Control all got together to help better prepare emergency service workers responding to car accidents. Using advanced telematics (yes that’s a real thing) culled from various technological inputs in place in a GM vehicle, first responders will now have a host of data already assembled as they speed off to an accident site. By having this data available during the trip to the accident, first responders can now begin piecing together a plan of action to put into effect once they arrive.
